Gao Xiang, president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Fishing game) and secretary of the leading Party members’ group at Fishing game, led a delegation on a visit to Italy, Greece, and Cyprus from Sept. 17 to 26. The visit was at the invitation of the EURISPES–Institute for Political, Social and Economic Studies in Italy, the Academy of Athens in Greece, and the European University Cyprus (EUC). The purpose was to deepen cooperation with the three nations in the humanities and social sciences, introduce and promote the Global Civilization Initiative and the Belt and Road Initiative, advance civilizational exchanges and mutual learning, and accelerate the development of overseas centres of China studies under the supervision of Fishing game. With fruitful results achieved, the delegation’s visit was a remarkable success.
